Dr. Michael Austin has been practicing in Owensboro  since 2001.  Dr Austin was born and raised in Calhoun, Kentucky.  He graduated  McLean County High School in 1990,   Graduated Western Ky University Magna Cum Laudi with majors in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Physics, and attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.  He then completed a General Practice Residency at the VA hospital in Louisville,  KY.  He then went on to complete his specialty training In Endodontics at the University Of Louisville. 

Dr. Austin is an  active member of many professional organizations including American Association of Endodontist, the American Dental Association, and Southern Endodontic Study Group.   Dr. Austin also volunteers his professional services in the community. 

Dr. Austin is married and has three sons.  He enjoys traveling, fishing, hunting and aviation.

My philosophy:  
"It sometimes hurts to need a root canal but it should not hurt to get one". 

Creating an atmosphere that relaxes you is my goal.  Your comfort during the procedure is my highest priority.
